Every week at Peques Wiggles & Giggles brings something new to explore. For our children, learning doesn’t always look like sitting down for a lesson. Sometimes it looks like mixing colors, building a tower, sharing a story, counting objects, asking “why?” or working together to solve a problem.

This week, our classrooms were filled with those moments.

Our children explored colors, shapes, numbers, textures, and patterns through activities designed to encourage them to touch, create, experiment, and make their own discoveries.

Instead of simply showing children how something works, our teachers encourage them to try it themselves. What happens when two colors are mixed? Which block will make the tower taller? How many pieces do we need? What shape fits here?

These simple questions help children begin developing important skills in problem-solving, early math, creativity, and critical thinking—all while they’re having fun.

Art and imaginative play gave our children another way to explore their ideas.

Painting, drawing, building, pretending, and creating aren’t just fun classroom activities. They give children opportunities to make choices, express themselves, strengthen fine motor skills, and turn their imaginations into something they can see and share.

And sometimes, the most exciting part is hearing them proudly say:

“Look what I made!”

Some of the week's most meaningful discoveries happened between children.

Playing together gives children opportunities to practice sharing, taking turns, communicating their ideas, listening to others, and working through little challenges together.

A classroom is not only a place where children learn from their teachers. They learn from one another, too.

Every time a child completes a puzzle, recognizes a number, tries a new activity, finishes a project, or figures something out independently, something important happens:

They begin to realize, “I can do this.”

Those small victories help build the confidence and independence that children will carry with them as they continue to grow.

Our teachers create age-appropriate experiences that make learning a natural part of each child's day—because some of the most important learning happens when children are simply excited to find out what happens next.
